Steve Cass worked in the Metropolitan Police Service for 30 years, training police horses.
An intensive riding course working under the tutelage of top instructors such as Dane Rawlings and Sylvia Stanier - who trained the Queen's dressage horses - the Mounted Training Establishment, Imber Court, turned Steve into an accomplished rider.
Steve backed new horse recruits before preparing them for frontline duty. Since leaving the police he has broadened his experience by taking on a wider range of horses including a number of stallions, older horses that have never been touched including a mare with only one eye!
