Pressure Sensor Mapping

The Tekscan pressure mapping system is routinely used throughout the development of the Solution Saddles SMART™ range to inform optimum design.

Results for Solution Saddles consistently impress; not only has peak stirrup bar pressure been eliminated, but the designs also show improved symmetry and reduced overall levels of pressure when compared to many other makes of saddle.

The pressure sensor mat is located inside the purpose built Saddle Research Trust saddle cloth. Applying the technology is as simple as tacking up.

Biomechanical Analysis

Solution Saddles has carried out many studies using this technique, the results of which further support findings that horse and rider performance is improved when using a Solution saddle.
